Habita

Habita brings an artistic lens to contemporary wallpaper design, blending hand-drawn forms with a clean, graphic sensibility. Each pattern begins as a sketch or linocut, or is painted in gouache; an opaque, water-based medium traditionally used in textile design. The result is a collection that balances geometry and gesture, softness and structure.

To preserve every brushstroke and hand-carved line, designs are digitally printed using water-based, low-VOC inks on FSC-certified paper. This process reduces ink and chemical waste while ensuring every roll carries the warmth and texture of its original artwork. Designed by Austin-based textile and graphic designer Emily Wong, Habita is as mindful as it is beautiful. A portion of profits supports Foundation Communities, a nonprofit providing affordable housing and support services in Texas.
